I look at math and computers as ways to eliminate the emotional ups and downs of investing. “I don’t want to have to worry about the market every minute. I want models that will make money while I sleep.” and I've done it.

It tells us about the behavior of averages of random samples. Here's a breakdown:
Imagine this:
•You have a large population with some kind of random variable. It could be heights, weights, exam scores, currency pairs , indexes , cryptos .
•This population has a certain distribution, which might be normal (bell-shaped) or something else entirely.
•Now, you take small samples from this population and calculate the average (mean) of each sample.
What the CLT says:
•If you repeat this process of taking many small samples and averaging them, the distribution of those averages will tend towards a normal distribution (bell curve) as the sample size gets larger.
•This is true regardless of the original population's distribution, as long as some conditions are met (like the population having a finite mean and variance ; or continually updating itself with self optimisation.
Why is this important?
•The CLT allows us to use normal distribution properties, like standard deviation, to make inferences about population means even if we don't know the population's exact distribution.
•This is incredibly useful in real-world statistics where data often doesn't follow a neat normal distribution.
Think of it like this:
•Imagine flipping a fair coin just a few times. The number of heads could be all over the place.
•But, if you flip the coin thousands of times and take the average number of heads per flip (across many groups of flips), that average will likely be very close to 0.5 (half heads, half tails), which aligns with the normal distribution https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/114159
